Coorong National Park is in South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula. It is at the bottom of The Mighty Murray River, where the river meets the sea. We took a cruise with Spirit of the Coorong Cruises where we were given an informative overview of the wildlife, river system and the continuous dredging needed to keep the waterways healthy. The Coorong is a bird lovers heaven and shows Mother Nature at her best! An absolutely spectacular place.
