We loved our time on Mornington Peninsula. There are so many lovely walks and attractions that we spent a whole week there. We stayed at Rosebud Foreshore Reserve, section 4 (unpowered) It’s a bush land camp area behind the boat sheds along the foreshore and beside McCrae Lighthouse. At just $100 for 7 nights! A bargain considering facilities were excellent, with showers & toilets cleaned daily, bins emptied every day, and even a free laundry! While in the area we visited Peninsula Hot Springs, Arthur’s Seat, Point Nepean NP and lots more!

Hi Jan, we were there early December. Maybe not peak rates, but still summer. It was only $100 for 7 days unpowered. The nightly rate was much more expensive, but we were happy with that rate working out to just over $14 per night.
