Ben Lomond National Park is a ski village set amongst stunning mountains. National Park fees apply. A visit from us in summer was a great day out. The drive itself was spectacular and if nothing else, we were happy with weaving our way up and down this internationally recognised road. Even though the village was closed for summer, it was interesting to wander around and imagine how very different the scene would be in winter. There are lots of walks from the village if you have the time. In our opinion the views from up top rival those of Cradle Mountain!
