Fingal, Tasmania is a great little RV friendly town. They offer camping at Fingal Park for a donation. There are two sites that even have power and water! Something we have not seen elsewhere in Tasmania. These are on a “first in” basis. There is also a playground, flushing toilets and gold coin hot showers.
The town itself has convict history with convict cells on the rivers edge. The cafe in town, Chell’s Cafe, is renowned for its great fish & chips. We tried their pizza. We had no idea we were in for the best pizza we had eaten in ages!
Fingal is a great town to stop for a night or two while travelling Tasmania.
