Comments:

Finally we have reached NT and Qld where the free and low cost camping is more prevalent. Our camping costs have reduced this month. Our fuel consumption increased this month. We reduced our KM’s travelled, but drove through headwinds for many days in a row. We were on a time frame to meet our flight, so we needed to keep driving, otherwise we could have stayed in one place to avoid the headwinds.
This months costs include a flight home from Townsville for our sons 21st birthday. We have included flight costs and our meal and fuel expenses while at home, which is why our “eating out” category is higher this month. 21st Birthday celebrations are worth eating out for!
Next months expenses will include our return flight.
There were no surprises this month. Even including our flights, we still scrape into being on budget this month. 😃
