Blue Pool campground is a primitive bush camp. The ground in uneven with many trees as obstacles for manoeuvring a caravan. It is mostly used for camper trailers and small motor homes with a flater area up in the car park for bigger rigs. We chose to camp on the uneven ground with lots of levellers and had a challenging time getting the van past all the trees to get out the next day, but its all part of the fun! The Blue pool is a short walk from the camp area and a beautiful place to cool off or skim stones over the water. We found it nice to camp in the bush with a fire for a change after several weeks of coastal camps.
