Barmedman Mineral Pool offers Freedom Camping right next door. Volunteers maintain facilities and charge $10 per vehicle per night. The pool is filled in October and drained in April. The pool is not a hot spring, but a therapeutic mineral spring at a comfortable temperature. Camping is available all year round.

We stayed for one night in February. It was a 35 degree day, so very enjoyable in the pool. We witnessed a storm coming our way at sunset, and the reflections at sunrise were absolutely gorgeous!
