This camp site at Northwood Road Reserve is the closest free camp North of Melbourne. Just off the Hume Freeway, its riverfront location is perfect for an overnighter or base yourself here if you don’t mind the 90 minute drive to the city.
There are no facilities, so you need to be self contained, but you can have a camp fire and dogs are allowed. Seymour itself is a nice little town with a very moving Vietnam Veterans Memorial Walk. There is a dump point, public toilets and a great shopping centre just a few minutes from the camp ground in the centre of town.
