Tolmie Recreation Reserve (not far from Mansfield) in Victoria, is a fantastic low cost campground. The sites are all unpowered in a bush land setting around the historic sports ground.

Volunteers have beautifully restored old buildings from the Wombat/Tolmie township dating back to the 1880’s. These are an easy stroll from the campground.

This camp was a perfect base for a few days while we day tripped into The Victorian High Country. Facilities very similar to a caravan park make this camp great value for just $7.50 per person per night.
