Heathcote, Victoria was a lovely surprise. We were only having an overnight stop and knew nothing about the town. We found the Queen Meadow caravan park excellent. Very friendly and welcoming managers, kangaroos visit the park on dusk and they allow a campfire. Thanks to WikiCamps we discovered so many “points of interest” close by. The Pink Cliffs were amazing, something you would never expect to see near the city. There were also some great walking tracks and gold mining history to explore. There is so much more to Heathcote than you would first think!
